I bought a house and the doors did not have openers. After the initial inspection it was determined that I would require side mounted openers as my ceiling was too low for regular ones. At no fault of the the company (side openers are more touchy than overhead ones, and harder to see problems at first), one of the doors had massive issues into the future, and I had to have them come out a couple of times to finally get the opener and door to work properly. As all the work was under warranty I didn't have to pay a penny on the other visits - no arguing, no haggling, no reimbursement process, nothing - they just came and fixed the problems. Our garage door decided it was done closing and wanted to stay in the open position. Checked all the normal culprits (sensors, etc) and couldn't figure it out. Called Pikes Peak Overhead Door and was so surprised they could squeeze us in that very same day! Within the first 5 minutes, Bob could see one of the tracks was misaligned and he fixed it right on the spot. Garage spring broke, we were gonna replace it ourselves, called around and Pikes Peak Overhead Door was by FAR the cheapest. Went to the office for the spring and inquired what their earliest service appointment would be. Lo and behold they could service us literally within the hour. Needless to say we didn’t replace the spring ourselves. The technician Mike called ahead while we were still on our way home, showed up within 10 minutes and had the spring installed in no time.
