I bought a house and the doors did not have openers. After the initial inspection it was determined that I would require side mounted openers as my ceiling was too low for regular ones. At no fault of the the company (side openers are more touchy than overhead ones, and harder to see problems at first), one of the doors had massive issues into the future, and I had to have them come out a couple of times to finally get the opener and door to work properly. As all the work was under warranty I didn't have to pay a penny on the other visits - no arguing, no haggling, no reimbursement process, nothing - they just came and fixed the problems. Pikes Peak Door performed a miracle today. Our garage door reached crisis stage Saturday. It was sagging in the middle and wouldn’t close. I work out of state and my wife called just before the 4th of July to inform me that our wall mount garage door opener had an issue where the support cable came off of the spool causing the door to jam and bind up. She could not get the car out of the garage. The local company who installed the door closed their shop in the Springs. Our garage door decided it was done closing and wanted to stay in the open position. Checked all the normal culprits (sensors, etc) and couldn't figure it out.
