Garage spring broke, we were gonna replace it ourselves, called around and Pikes Peak Overhead Door was by FAR the cheapest. Went to the office for the spring and inquired what their earliest service appointment would be. Lo and behold they could service us literally within the hour. Our garage door decided it was done closing and wanted to stay in the open position. Checked all the normal culprits (sensors, etc) and couldn't figure it out. Called Pikes Peak Overhead Door and was so surprised they could squeeze us in that very same day! I bought a house and the doors did not have openers. After the initial inspection it was determined that I would require side mounted openers as my ceiling was too low for regular ones. At no fault of the the company (side openers are more touchy than overhead ones, and harder to see problems at first), one of the doors had massive issues into the future, and I had to have them come out a couple of times to finally get the opener and door to work properly. As all the work was under warranty I didn't have to pay a penny on the other visits - no arguing, no haggling, no reimbursement process, nothing - they just came and fixed the problems. Pikes Peak Door performed a miracle today. Our garage door reached crisis stage Saturday. It was sagging in the middle and wouldn’t close. After calling a couple of businesses who needed 30 days to order and one business who said they had emergency service (sure, they never called us back), we called Pikes Peak Door first thing Monday morning. We had damage to our garage door and two other local companies gave me a runaround for months about the damaged door no longer being manufactured. It is in fact still being made and sold.
